Our approach

Healthy Relationships Are the Bedrock of Every Workplace.

Most workplace problems don't start with legal disputes — they start with broken trust, unclear expectations, and unresolved tension. We believe that strong employee relations is both a legal imperative and business one. Our work is grounded in the conviction that when organizations invest in relational dynamics, legal compliance follows — and workplaces thrive!

"Proactive beats reactive. Every time."

Be an Employer of Choice: Positive Employee Relations & Collective Bargaining Training

The most competitive organizations don't just avoid labor disputes — they build workplaces where employees want to stay and unions struggle to gain a foothold. Becoming an employer of choice is a strategic advantage, and it starts with equipping your leaders with the right knowledge. Our training is designed and delivered by a seasoned labor and employment attorney and executive who has served with the NLRB, sat at the bargaining table representing employers, and led enterprise-wide employee and labor relations strategies across a broad spectrum of industries — including healthcare, hospitality, public safety, higher education, government, non-profit, television, radio, and cultural arts. Your leaders learn from someone with deep, cross-industry experience in both the legal and business sides of labor and employee relations. Letitia Silas is a seasoned labor & employment attorney and executive whose career spans the private, public, government, and in-house sectors. She has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to boards, CEOs, executive leadership teams, and HR professionals on complex labor relations, employee relations, workplace strategy, and organizational change.

Following executive leadership roles overseeing enterprise-wide labor relations for some of the nation's most complex organizations, Letitia intentionally joined a boutique, high-growth labor and employment law firm to help build and expand its emerging traditional labor practice. Drawing on her executive and legal experience, she developed the firm's strategic labor relations platform — including a successful three-part executive masterclass on positive employee relations, labor relations, and collective bargaining — and launched a workplace law podcast that equips employers with practical strategies for navigating today's evolving workplace landscape.

Previously, Letitia served as Executive Director of Labor Relations for the University of California, where she established the strategic vision and enterprise-wide labor relations strategy for a $36 billion institution with more than 130,000 union-represented employees across ten campuses, five academic medical centers, a national laboratory, and affiliated enterprises. Earlier, as Senior Labor Counsel and Director of Labor Relations for Howard University, she led the University's labor relations strategy and served as a key advisor to executive leadership on collective bargaining, employee relations, and workforce strategy.

Letitia began her career in public service as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist and Compliance Officer with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). After earning her law degree, she joined the National Labor Relations Board as an investigator and trial attorney, developing her litigation, investigative, and advocacy skills in both the Boston and Washington, D.C., Regional Offices. This unique foundation in federal enforcement, combined with executive leadership and private practice experience, enables her to provide practical, business-focused counsel that aligns legal strategy with organizational objectives.
